Making Innovative Teaching Matter

You are invited to participate in the 2010 Oklahoma Higher Education Teaching and Learning Conference, celebrating the theme Making Innovative Teaching Matter. The conference will take place April 8 and 9, 2010 with preconference activities on April 7th on the beautiful Broken Arrow campus of Northeastern State University. Join faculty-scholars who will discuss teaching and learning topics ranging from using technology to cooperative learning. Opportunities to meet and talk to the presenters are provided throughout the conference. Join us as we celebrate innovative educators from Oklahoma Higher Education institutions who embrace connections, enhance teaching and envision learning.

Plenary Speaker Announcement

We are very pleased to announce that Dr. Peter Seldin (http://www.pace.edu/page.cfm?doc_id=1), Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Management at the Lubin School of Business at Pace University, and author of such books as Improving College Teaching and The Academic Portfolio: A Practical Guide to Documenting Teaching, Research, and Service will be our conference plenary speaker on the morning of Thursday April 8, 2010

I am very pleased to inform everyone that Wesley Fryer, http://www.speedofcreativity.org/ will be joining us as a plenary speaker! Wesley Fryer is a digital learning consultant, author, digital storyteller, educator and change agent. With respect to school change, he describes himself as a "catalyst for creative engagement and collaborative learning."
